Why Rituals? Why Now?
Life
and work can become a habitual series of activities bereft
of aliveness and enthusiasm. Just going through the motions
leaves us depleted and disheartened. A ceremony or a ritual
activates the life force, unleashing the passion and power
of people and organizations.
Ritual, in our culture, is an underutilized tool for personal
and collective empowerment. In the U.S., we practice just
a few rituals such as birthdays, marriages, graduations
and funerals.
Connie Clark’s custom designed
ceremonies for life passages, projects and celebrations
harness the energy of mind, heart and spirit, creating
successful outcomes. Gift yourself or your company with
this uniquely effective approach.
What is a Ritual?
A ritual is a conscious act that results in a positive transformation of thought, feeling and behavior. A ritual or rite of passage empowers aspects of the psyche not otherwise available, creating the birth of a "new self".
“I
had an unforgettable 60th birthday celebration. The
magical ceremonies that Connie designed transformed a
‘good time’ into a meaningful journey. Everyone
there that night will carry Connie’s warmth and
spirit with them always.”

A woman’s story of her birthday
ceremony:
As I approached my 60th birthday, I was unsettled,
anxious and fearful of becoming 60, an age that represented
loss and changes I did not welcome. I had few positive
female role models to light the path for this transition.
My dearest friend suggested a trip to Mexico for a
week, with Connie Clark, in the lovely seaside village
of Sayulita.
On the evening of my birthday, Connie prepared a ritual
on our patio, overlooking the ocean. Flowers, shells
and stones provided an altar. Connie invoked models
of inspiring women from history and current times
to lend me support in my journey of transition. She
encouraged me to let go of anything that stood in
the way of my becoming my most creative self. I felt
blessed, honored and empowered as I stepped into the
new phase of my life.
Soon, I will celebrate 62 years. Remembering the ceremony
that supported me in turning 60 renews me with the
strength and love I felt in that significant passage.
Thank you, Connie!” Joyce Webber. Owner, When
